This Week in BME

Friday, September 4th, 2009

And finally, you lovely people, let’s wrap up our week with this bathing suit-area pull, facilitated by Steve and Tracie. If there’s a better metaphor for the end of summer, we have not been made privy to it.

So goes the week that was. What might you have missed?

- Aw, young love, starring John and Preston.

- Aw, lovely floral sleeves, starring various flowers.

- Mawwiage! This is a very positive week thus far.

- And it’s Natalee (a.k.a. the future Mrs. John Joyce)! Seriously, what’s with all this love and happiness? Can we get a zombie uprising or meteor strike or something?

- Oak is just chock full of implants now, courtesy of Steve Haworth.

- Oh God we are freaking out.

And that is that! We may not be around a ton this weekend on account of ye olde long weekend, but we’ll be back next week, refreshed and raring to go (maybe). Until then, compatriots, have fun, stay safe, celebrate labor (that’s what Labor Day is for, yes?) and, as always, thank you for your continued support of BME.

This Week in BME

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Good God, well, if this isn’t a fine way to wrap things up this week, I don’t know what is. Two of our returning champions, Heather (more) and Tracie (more, more), covered in blood (or a reasonable substitute), hanging out at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention, and conveniently captured sharing a tender moment by the good folks with Metal Disco Photography. Whew. Yeah. Well…yeah.

And that, friends, will be that for this week. What kinda good times did we have this time around?

- Cats vs. Bees: The Revengening.

- LA Ink made some unwise personnel decisions, but at least wang tattoos can save your ass.

- GAHHHHHH KILL IT KILL IT SEND IT TO HELL

- One of the finer silicone implants we’ve seen in a while. Ahoy.

- You’re not a man until you learn to tie a bow-tie.

- A children’s treasury of dead celebrity tattoos! We are going directly to hell.

- And finally, don’t steal money to fund your body modification procedures, you grinning douchebag.

We’ll make a casual appearance or two over the next couple days, but come Monday morning, this ship sails ahead at full speed. Sounds good? Sounds good. Until then, friends, enjoy yourselves, stay safe and, of course, thank you for your continued support of BME. We’ll see you soon.

Tattoo Hollywood, BME’s first tattoo convention, is coming to Los Angeles from August 21-23, featuring contests, prizes and some of the best artists from around the world! Click here for more information.

Fun Times at the Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention ‘09

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

And so here is international playboy John Durante, hanging out at the Baltimore Tattoo Arts Convention at the end of January, and just cold skewering folks all over the place (including the lovely Tracie) as part of a performance involving, among others, Nu Ethix Suspensions. Lots of great photos from this set should be up on BME in the next day or two, but you can get a sneak preview by checking out the page of the lovely Miss Ruth Decay, who sent in the majority of these bad boys.
