Double-Edged Blades

Continuing on with our much-heralded “Corset Week” here on ModBlog, it’s the lovely Jenica, posing in a photo by Megan Cash, showing off these fancy arm corsetry projects she had done for her birthday. Not just that, though—these were done in tandem, while she was having both legs tattooed as well. Sensory overload, hmm? In her own words:

My piercers wanted in on the fun too, so towards the end of the night, Amanda and Kaz did tandem corsets on my arms while Bert and Kaelyn were tattooing my legs. Four artists to one canvas! With all of my limbs being worked on at one time, my brain was having a hard time of choosing where to direct my attention. It was a fantastic adrenaline high to say the least!

Jenica then hulked out of her shirt and punched through a brick wall, just because.

I’m Bloodshot For Sure

Well hey, look at that! It’s the always lovely (and controversial?) Lesha, checking in again—this time bottomless as opposed to last time’s toplessness. And…hey, what’s that on her stomach?

Ha ha, look at that! It’s this tremendous scarification portrait piece, a month into the ol’ healing process. Seems to be coming along nicely, but the question, as always, is how is the commentariat dealing with it? I’m going to say…hilariously.

The Game’s Worthwhile

Well, that was kind of a long day, was it not, folks? But you know something? You all stuck with it, and that, well…that’s a kind of temerity they don’t teach at school. Not usually, at least. Maybe at Brown, or something. But anyway! It’s the kind of performance that deserves, at the very least, a hearty high-five, and for my money, there’s no better candidate to dole out these smacks of good-will than Jamin up there, sporting, among other bits and pieces, that handsome palm tattoo by Anji at ?High Priestess in Eugene, Oregon, which was fresh when this picture was taken. Now, though? High-five away, fair ModBloggers, and all through the night. Until tomorrow.

Just a Bystander

20090610-cors-pix-1

We all took turns admiring this wonderful corset piece a few days ago, largely because of how well it was coordinated with the wearer’s dress. Well, here we have some more lovely pierced corsetry, albeit placed slightly differently. I have to say, though, this project is a bit more difficult to fit into a whole ensemble, especially for a wedding. Unless, you know, she’s just wearing a pair of old school Keds or something. Hmm…hey, photo shoot idea!

And of course, all the click-through and post-jump images you’ve come to know and love and expect from we here at ye olde ModBlog.

There’s No Here

Well kiddies, let’s knock off today with this handsome shot of Brian, hanging out in the shade, beaming out a cold, hard stare. Don’t try to look away. The stare will find you. Would the stare be any good at what it does if it couldn’t find you? No. No it would not.

Sleep on that, ModBloggers. We’ll see you tomorrow.

There Is No Crime To Dreams Like This

Well, this is a little easier to stomach than that last post, hmm? If my sources are trustworthy, that’d be Kallee up there, hanging out in scenic Fresno, California, wearing this beautifully executed corset project assembled by the mysterious “Dana.” Corset piercings are already, for my money, some of the most visually appealing modifications we run across with some regularity around these parts, but outfit-coordination like this? That takes finesse. Lovely work.

Down to the Heart

Good morning, folks! Let’s start off this unseasonably wet and chilly week of June with this month-old forehead cutting by Alicia in Milan, Italy. Many of the facial scarification pieces we’ve seen lately have been pretty heavy duty, so it’s nice to see something a bit more subtle as well—variety is the spice of life and all that, etc. And, hey, for the good of the land, we’ve got a dead-on shot of the above cutting after the jump.

Welcome back, ModBloggers. We gotta stay positive.

The Silken String

The last time we saw Graham, he was indisposed, getting ready to party, and starring in all sorts of perverse toilet erotica. Now? Our young hero has decided to grace us with George Will’s hated blue jeans, in nature, with a knit stocking cap (I think). The one incongruous piece? His asymmetric microdermal below his left eye, which, if my schooling has taught me anything, means he once killed a guy (in the bathroom, maybe?). Beware.

All Darkness Near

Really beautiful set of photos here featuring the lovely Samar, who is no stranger to the ol’ ModBlog, with a suspension-assist by Erik Dakota and Andrea Costantino, who did the eight eight-gauge piercings involved here. Do we have a name for this variation yet? If not, well, think on it, ModBloggers. In the meantime, more pictures are just after the jump.

A Dispenser of Schmaltz

Well well well, it’s a BME EXCLUSIVE, folks! Here we have a never-before-seen photo from one of those new goddamn vampire shows or something. Exciting, isn’t it? This, obviously, is from, hmm…Twilight, maybe? Is that a show? Oh, it’s a movie? Sure. This is a picture from the new Twilight. Keep checking ModBlog for all your hot celebrity news and shit.

(The photo is actually of the lovely Hannah and her friends. They may or may not be real vampires.)
