Wear a Brown Tie

It’s really not that hard to get on ModBlog, you know. All it takes is the right combination of interesting photography, well placed piercings, skin-tight latex and a good measure of amateur dentistry. Clearly, pinkdekay up there has been paying attention to our standards of excellence.

Bait With Your Heart

Hey, how about that? Long-time friend of BME and full-time Mexican Mutant, Phineas Gage Louie, just stretched himself up a two-gauge septril piercing! “Biggest ever?” he asks. What do you all think — anyone ever seen a bigger septril than this? Not that it’s a contest or anything … but, y’know, if it were, Louie, like, totally wins.

A bonus shot of El Mutante with a clearer look at his hu-yuuuuge horns and other various facial accoutrements, after the jump.

The World Goes Backwards

Sure, IAM: blockedintersection may be bored during a slow day at the piercing shop at which he works — “Thank you, George Bush and the economy” — but look on the bright side: While others cry tears of boredom, you are crying tears of m.-f.-in’ diamonds. (Or Zirconia, I guess.) So … cheer up? I guess?

And with that, let’s call it a day, ModBlog. Oh, and if you haven’t read it yet, I implore you to spend some time reading Ferg’s incredible article from earlier this afternoon. If you read only one intensely personal account of a Westerner being granted unimaginable access to an Indigenous community this year, make it this one.

Peek-a-Boo

Oh, hello! Hope everyone’s sugar highs have worn off from Halloween and that you’ve scrubbed the caramel out of your good pants. Anyway, what better way to start the week than by staring into the eyes of our model up there? More shots, after the jump:

First person to make a Mike Tyson joke receives my undying scorn. Mornin’, ModBlog!

This Week in BME

IAM: xronix

A fine week, in the books. Some highlights:

  • We had apples.
  • La Negra popped in and, as usual, lit up our lives.
  • Some people find tattoo shops in malls an affront to everything that the art-form stands for, while some merely hate the idea.
  • Scotty may or may not have left a mark on that handsome chair.
  • Noobs were told to STFU, and some people did not approve.
  • Paul King schooled us on nipples.
  • And that’s all for this week, folks. We’ll pop in a couple times over the weekend, and then it’s back to normal, bright and early-ish on Monday morning. Happy Halloween, ModBlog. Stay safe.
