Roland Zwicknapp Wallpaper

At the other end of the spectrum of heavily modified people, you’ve got people like Roland Zwicknapp of Visavajara ( He’s let me share this gorgeous portrait shot of him a few years ago by Ethan Oelman. Click the image below to see it uncropped, or save it from this link for a desktop wallpaper sized image.

Suspension Daisy Chain

This photo (in which I see Marc of Little Swastika and Roland, Oli, and Ralf of Visavajara) of a circular ring of people doing the suspension hook piercing of the person in front of them by being pierced by the one behind them is totally the suspension version of a daisy chain. And I’m not talking about the innocent sort

The Mighty Thunderbird

It seems that Mr. Borneoscorpion2008 has managed to transform his cock into a massive thunderbird.  On top of that, he’s had his legs and groin tattooed to fit in with the theme of his bird, and the result is striking.

To see the rest of the tail, you’ll have to keep on reading.

Thunderbirds are definitely go here.  The split head, combined with the ampallang and the hafada really make the “tail” a force to be reckoned with.

Not sure which artist gets credit for what, but he lists the artists as, Hannes & Yvonne from Blut & Eisen in Berlin, and Roland & Ralf from Visavajara in Freiburg.

A Heavy Yoke

The ever-impressive Roland in Freiburg, Germany (more), sends in this excellent fresh cutting, done on a fella who appears to work out every now and then.

As well, we’ve had a few commenters note lately that they’d like to see more healed scarification work, so check back tomorrow to see an in-progress report on a cutting we’ve featured recently. You think you’re excited? Feel these nipples!

This Week in BME

Why would you ever get a penis tattoo? This. This is why you would get a penis tattoo. “I blow myself every day,” says latexninja, putting to good use her arm-wang by Nickku at Galaxy Tattoo in Singapore and her split tongue by Roland at Visavajara in Freiburg, Germany.

And like the sands of time, friends … another week has come and gone. What might you have missed this time?

We started things off with Anna, because why not?

A brief digression into the virtues of hardcore metal.

Pretty sure we ran a fever.

And this is what an infected and rejecting implant looks like.

Gold tusks? Gold tusks.

Jose Lopez is just ridiculous.

Joy Rumore put an empowering piece on a cancer survivor.

So that’s that. We’ll be around on Saturday and Sunday, and I should even be able to post a new article at some point. Fun, right? Fun, indeed. Stay safe, ModBloggers, enjoy the weekend and, as always, thank you for your continued support of BME.

Deep Chest Piercing Update

We last posted about these deep chest piercings by Roland at Visavajara in Freiburg, Germany, about a month ago when they were fresh, and here we have an update after four weeks of healing or so. The piercings definitely look a little angry around the edges, but this is not an easy procedure to heal. Nice to see he’s stuck with it, though, and I’m sure we’re all curious to see if they can heal to the point that they can be worn “permanently.” Another shot, after the jump.
