Tangled Up In Black

Good day, ModBloggers! Here we have some cruel bondage out of scenic Poland by “Anna,” done in the privacy of the model’s own home. She makes a daring escape after the jump but, admittedly, looks a little wistful. Sure, she’s free, but at what cost? Is this just Stockholm syndrome or something more? (It is not Stockholm syndrome.)

Escape These Motives

See, now, this is just rude, right? Emily is just hanging out, in the buff, all corseted up and relaxing on a hand-crafted Norwegian boat stool, but can she enjoy herself? No. No she cannot. Because there are disembodied hands just floating around and trying to screw with her good time. There oughta be a law, you know?

Gushed And Damned

And here we have the lovely Cale, sporting these 20-point self-done play piercing corsets, which are not only awfully pretty, but also a sensible sartorial option before breaking out your autumnal pantaloons. This sort of thing interest you? You can find our model piercing (and apprenticing as a tattoo artist) at Anchors Away Tattoo in Denver, Colorado. If you visit her, tell her Jordan sent you. It won’t get you any special treatment—I just think it’d be funny.

Double-Edged Blades

Continuing on with our much-heralded “Corset Week” here on ModBlog, it’s the lovely Jenica, posing in a photo by Megan Cash, showing off these fancy arm corsetry projects she had done for her birthday. Not just that, though—these were done in tandem, while she was having both legs tattooed as well. Sensory overload, hmm? In her own words:

My piercers wanted in on the fun too, so towards the end of the night, Amanda and Kaz did tandem corsets on my arms while Bert and Kaelyn were tattooing my legs. Four artists to one canvas! With all of my limbs being worked on at one time, my brain was having a hard time of choosing where to direct my attention. It was a fantastic adrenaline high to say the least!

Jenica then hulked out of her shirt and punched through a brick wall, just because.

Just a Bystander

20090610-cors-pix-1

We all took turns admiring this wonderful corset piece a few days ago, largely because of how well it was coordinated with the wearer’s dress. Well, here we have some more lovely pierced corsetry, albeit placed slightly differently. I have to say, though, this project is a bit more difficult to fit into a whole ensemble, especially for a wedding. Unless, you know, she’s just wearing a pair of old school Keds or something. Hmm…hey, photo shoot idea!

And of course, all the click-through and post-jump images you’ve come to know and love and expect from we here at ye olde ModBlog.

There Is No Crime To Dreams Like This

Well, this is a little easier to stomach than that last post, hmm? If my sources are trustworthy, that’d be Kallee up there, hanging out in scenic Fresno, California, wearing this beautifully executed corset project assembled by the mysterious “Dana.” Corset piercings are already, for my money, some of the most visually appealing modifications we run across with some regularity around these parts, but outfit-coordination like this? That takes finesse. Lovely work.

This Week in BME

And so goes the week, everyone. Before we wrap things up, take a gander at this lovely temporary corset, with piercings by Filoz out of Milano, Italy, and as photographed by Andrea Degrada. A couple more shots, after the jump.

So, what went down this time around?

We got an update on this gorgeous Dingwell backpiece.

Howie checked in with this excellent koi cutting.

Caught a glimpse of Uranium Hobo’s fancy bug plugs.

Darwin stared into our souls, probably.

– This week’s hilarious controversy hinged on this gentleman’s eyelid tattoos, which really got the blood pumping, for some reason, until we posted an update, which ended all arguing on the Internet, forever.

We profiled Markus Cuff, who, in addition to recording an album with Emmylou Harris once, has been one of the chief photographers for a little magazine called Tattoo for 15 years or so.

We fartbarfed.

And that’s it, friends. We’ll be here over the weekend here and there, and then ramp it back up to normal striking power on Monday. Have a good weekend, ModBloggers, stay safe, and, as always, thank you for your continued support of BME.

Hey Ladies, Got Genital Piercings? Have Some Money!

A couple months ago, we posted this offer from Indiana University for gentlemen to discuss their genital piercings in exchange for cold hard cash, but there was some concern that this study was maybe racist towards the women. Well, it’s your turn now, ladies!

NOTE: No more applicants are being accepted. Thanks for your input!

The Department of Applied Health Science at Indiana University is conducting a research study designed to collect information on women’s sexual health and genital piercings. We are looking for women who have had their genitals pierced to participate in a phone interview that will be audio-recorded. The time commitment will be approximately 45 minutes and you will receive a $25 VISA gift card for completing the interview. In order to receive the gift card a name and mailing address is required.

To be eligible for this study, you must be at least 18 years of age, speak and understand English, currently reside in the U.S. and have had your genitals pierced.

If you are interested in participating please e-mail us with the following information at xxxxxxxx:

– Your first name, or name you prefer.
– A phone number where you can be reached.
– Several times when you are available to talk on the phone privately.

A member of the research team will call you to discuss the study. We are looking for 20 women and will call people in the order in which the e-mails were received.

For questions please contact Dayna Fischtein, Department of Applied Science, xxxxxxxxxxx

And now for something completely different..

I feel we need some “dessert” after the last post, something light and fruity perhaps?

I’m afraid some of the images above didn’t have credits, but I can say that the top-left-brunette-lad is Mostly Canadian, the top-right-blonde is Miss Duveaux (more), the septum-piercing-in-the-centre was done by Russ Foxx (more / iam), girl-with-frilly-red-knickers is Lessaa and the bottom-right-lad’s tattoos were done by Alan Gilb, Top Dog Tattooz, Cosham, England.

See more at, erm, BMEzine.com, obviously!
