Good Shabbos, ModBloggers! We all got such a kick out of Timmo‘s pimp-bee the other day that we figured, hey, it’s a mitzvah, right? Luckily, he had more work in his portfolio to provide us with the means for an appropriate celebration. L’chaim! After the jump? More of Timmo’s handiwork. Compton, stand up.

Hot on the heels of this outstanding flesh-removal piece from earlier in the week, we turn the spotlight once again to Jimmy Xayyabanha at Straight A Tattoos in Asheboro, North Carolina, who, apparently, is just killing it right now. I apologize if this is a recognizable profile on whose identity I’m blanking, but either way, this is one of the finer pieces of scarification portraiture we’ve seen in a while.

Well hey, if it isn’t our old friend Alex, last seen around these parts showing off his then-newly stretched vertical lowbrets. This time around, he’s sporting a month-old 6 mm. scalpelled medusa, in addition to some sort of delicious meat jewelry dangling from his ear. Once everyone gets tired of splitting their lobes and whatnot, could THIS be the hot new trend that sweeps the nation? I certainly hope so.

Well, isn’t this a lovely surprise! Lindsey May makes her triumphant return to ModBlog after a prolonged, inexplicable absence. Here she is, lounging pretty hard, wearing pumps inside because why the hell not, right? Never underestimate the power of a good high-heeled shoe. This, of course, is just a moment of relative calm before tragedy strikes! After the jump, Lindsey is accosted by what must be the storm of the century, or some other terrible force that just tears off most of her clothes. Luckily, her wonderful tattoo work by Craig Driscoll and Pol was left unscathed. I guess when you put it like that, everyone’s kind of a winner here.

Well folks, after a few months of her being a chilly cock-tease, summer is finally here in all of her mood-ruining humid glory. Hooray. Perhaps the sole benefit of warm weather? Permission to eat all the damn ice cream you please. The lovely HocusPocus up there certainly has the right idea. Sure, she might try to tell you it’s “gelato” or some sort of other fancy European-style snack, but don’t be fooled by this shameless propaganda. Take a moment, admire her Jim Miner-inked tattoo work, and then get you some damn ice cream. You’ve earned it.

The Rise Of The Split/Stretched Lobe

Well, it hasn’t even been a week since we first noted Micah‘s pretty ingenious prostheses he developed to address a necessary but unfortunate lobe split (we also shamefully misspelled his name not once, but twice. Guhhh), and now, be it inspiration or coincidence, Helsinki-based klitoris has fashioned himself a similar set-up. He, of course, has opted for some danglier (or “blingier,” to hear him tell it) jewelry. The original posting was a bit controversial among the commentariat, and the fact that this idea is SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE is sure to fire up some lively debate, so let’s do our best to set the terms, shall we? Is this an example of the cleverness and ingenuity that makes this community great, or is it an insidious trend that will destroy body modification as we know it? The truth is likely somewhere in between. (Or maybe just the first one.)

Whoa hey, straight outta Budapest comes this cutting by Gábor Zagyvai at his eponymous studio in the aforementioned Hungarian capital. This piece is well into the healing process, and, happily, is affixed to someone with an appropriately warrior-esque body to boot. If, however, you do find yourselves engaged in a decades-long battle of attrition with him, his only weakness? Gift horses. As we all know, honey bees are some of the most vicious, cold-blooded, calculating killers in the insect kingdom. It’s true. They attack indiscriminately, all hopped up on The Devil’s Gold, engaging in wild, deadly kamikaze missions. Well, now, it seems, these audacious super-villains have expanded into the sex trade, which makes sense, we guess. While we would not wish this fate on anybody, if anybody does find him- or herself in a bee’s stable, please be careful—beyond that winsome smile is a deceptively powerful and merciless pimp hand.
